CONTACT CONGRESS: WOTUS DAYS OF ACTION

The U.S. House recently took measures to reign in the EPA and Army Corps' harmful WOTUS proposal.  Attention now turns to the Senate.  Take action today!

U.S. House of Representatives

The U.S. House recently took action on HR 5078, the Waters of the United States Regulatory Overreach Protection Act. All Republican members of the Indiana House delegation voted in support of this measure which passed by a bipartisan vote of 262-152.

We ask that you take action this week to thank them for their leadership on this issue. A draft of the thank you comments are included in the text box below but feel free to personalize your own note.

U.S. Senate

Since the House of Representatives recently took action on HR 5078,the Waters of the United States Regulatory Overreach Protection Act, it is now up to the Senate to take action to curb the overreach of EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers. Given that Majority Leader Reid has not expressed support for moving any legislation on this issue, it is important that the Indiana Senate delegation hear from you asking them to urge Senator Harry Reid to move legislation on this priority issue.

Stand with your fellow Farm Bureau members and take action today!  Send a strong message to the EPA that their proposed rule is a regulatory land grab and overreach that Congress never intended and which the Supreme Court does not agree.
